30 May 1978 Tuesday
Today we found a lot of success. This morning we tracted in Kassei. The weather is unbelievably warm for me. Last week I froze and this week I cook. I guess I complain too much. Someone said that it got to around 30°C today. I would guess it was about the same yesterday in Brussel.
We had four appointments, but the one with Heyndels didn’t go through. We taught Mw. Monique, Mr Mornie (our Prist) he reads in the B of M and prays about it. He is a real religious person. “Whoops” I goofed! Yesterday when I said we taught Walter; that was wrong, that appointment didn’t go through so what [I] said happened then, actually happened today. Also Elder Rebers bike broke today so we let a guy fix it while walked half of the day. That is much more of a problem when you live ¾ of a mile from where you work, also some of appointmens were that far apart. Or farther.
