Twenty Nine Years of Joy

Twenty nine years ago this morning Lisa and I were married. What a wonderful experience it has been. I don't know where time goes but it seems like only yesterday that we were kneeling across the alter from each other. I love to sit back and think of everything we've accomplished together and by far the thing I'm most proud of is our family. What wonderful children we've been blessed with and what good people they've grown to become. If I were given the opportunity to change anything in my life I don't think I would change a thing. I am a lucky man. Since I'm making this trip down memory lane I thought I'd give you all a chance to share in some of my memories from that blessed day twenty nine years ago. Here are a few of the pictures from our wedding album. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Awww!!! How sweet and yes, the best thing is our family :) Do you remember how we used to wonder what our kids would look like before we had any? Then we would wonder how they would turn out and what they would be like? It's crazy to think that for the most part that has come to pass. It doesn't seem that long ago.

I don't even remember when we didn't have any kids.

That was fun looking at all those pictures. I chuckle when I see that every bride and groom still takes their wedding pictures in the SAME spots on that temple ground. Kind of cool actually. And Dean and I have a picture in front of the temple gate doors there too.....where they use to be before the renovations in 1988.

HAPPY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY you two!!!

did you ever talk about how dad was going to lose all of his hair?

Actually we did talk about me losing my hair. Mom's only condition was that I have hair in the wedding pictures, after that she didn't care. I held up my end of the bargain and she has held up her end. We're a team.
