The Leavitt's

I guess I got ahead of myself. Before The Palmers it was The Leavitts. Ben and Sharley headed to London and Paris this spring to celebrate their fifteenth wedding anniversary. We watched their kids while they were gone. Bens family arrived Thursday, June 8th and then Ben and Sharley promptly boarded a plane for London. Since the eighth was a temple day I stayed home with the kids and Lisa went to the temple.

I spent much of the week working on the yard to get ready for Lisa’s party while Lisa took the kids on fun outings. I did manage to get a few outings in with the kids.

First, we went to the zoo. Freddie really wanted to see a cheetah (or leopard or any large cat with spots) and was lucky enough to get up close and personal with this guy.

They loved the entire zoo, but the big hit of the day was when they found the water park. The water park was very well done, and they located it next to a monkey enclosure so the kids could play on a rope climbing feature right next to the monkeys. It was hard to tell the monkeys from the kids.

On the sixteenth we took the kids to Sea World. That was also a lot of fun. Jack is getting old enough now that he likes to go on some of the more exciting rides. We both got quite wet on the Atlantis ride.

Everybody loves the cleaner fish. It was a fun day.

Ben and Sharley got home on Saturday the 17th and stayed for Sunday since that was Fathers day.
