Sprained Ankle

205.7 down 0.6
Right now Alex is in Volleyball season. A while back I showed you some of his cool “kills”. In those video clips you can see how amazingly high he jumps. Imagine what could happen if you came down from one of those jumps, land on another guys foot and roll your ankle. A day or two ago Alex did just that and apparently it hurts, I suppose Ben could attest to that as well because he had a very similar experience a few years ago. As you can see, Alex is now on crutches and his Volleyball career for this season is pretty much over. His big concern now is that he gets ready for football spring training. He is taking really good care of his ankle and for once is listening to any and all advice on how to experience a full and fast recovery. We bandage it up nice and tight in the daytime but at nights he needs to loosen the bandage. I’ve become the default bandager. Last night I took his bandage off and I was quite startled to see a huge, dark, purple bruise. I guess it took a day or too for the bruise to migrate to the surface but he now has proof that it really did hurt. His football coaches are very anxious to put him to work so here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.

OUCH! Here's to getting better soon Alex! Thank goodness you are being good about letting it heal nicely. It's the only way. Rushing things never was good. : D
